Sounds like any other computer running windows doesnt it

PS2 games crash, GameCube games crash, X Box 360 games will crash. The first round of releases will have been rushed out and not put through quite a thorough QA.

Perfect Dark Zero was pressed before it had even passed submission, that's how desperate they were to make launch.

Its not the games that are causing the crash.. overheating apparantly.

Ridiculous though, you would have assumed they had 10-20 machines on test beds running for a week straight running intensive programs in order to test for heat issues and stability.

Must be some shite QA at MS.

Okay... we got two xbox's this morning.. lined up really early.. and through trial and error, I can tell you what this is. Basically, its your power bar.

We connect my friends Xbox completely and had this problem right away, tried everything we could to get it working. We opened up and connected my other friends Xbox to the existing cords, had the same problem, and freaked cause we thought we had 2 faulty Xbox's already. We took out the power bar and cords from the 2nd Xbox 360 and they're QUITE different. The plugs are slightly different, different shade of grey and everything. After hooking this up, BOTH Xbox's worked perfectly fine....

So at least, we've narrowed down the problem to the Power Bar.. the solution according to Support.. is yes... send it in, and wait a week for your replacement... We're trying to pray we can get an exchange in so we don't have to wait a week, but not sure on how or when they'll get more here.... Best of luck.. we need it too apparently...
