Got a load of these wireless adaptors at work which are compatible with the Xbox 360.

Got 62 of these we need to get rid of so they are being sold for £29.99 each which is half the price of the official Xbox 360 wireless adaptor.

Only disadvantage is you configure the adaptor on your PC before you plug into the 360.

Well worth it if you have been thinking about making your 360 wireless.

They are the same. You just have to configure your wifi access details on your PC which you will only do once.

Half the price, which I guess is better right?

I would have thought so zxibit as its an access point and in my experience I used my laptop with internet sharing on and this has a stronger signal.

Plus you dont always have to have your laptop on too as this adaptor is small.

Erm, any wireless gateway is compatible with the 360. you still have to run a cat5 cable to the 360. Although admitedly you can sit the wireless gateway right next to the 360.

IMO the official one is a great product and was worth the money, never let me down and has great signal, plug and play!

I paid £80 for it IIRC. I was sick of tripping over the massive network cable I'd made up. I reckon it was more a health and safety issue.

£60 though ?? they ripped you a new one..

You should see what I paid for mine when the console came out and no one had any!!!
i bought a core with all the extras on launch day, luckily pcworld had it all in stock so i only paid RRP, I remember you trying to get one at the time though.

Luckily I made my mondey back from paying the premium but selling the other premium i had on order that came a week later to my employer as they wanted to give it away as a prize, worked out all right in the end for me.
