XBOX and PS3 multi region?

I'm moving to singapore in a month. I still need to check if I'll need power converters but can someone tell me if the PS3 will play games/blurays from any region and if my 360 will be useless over there?

Balls :dapprove: now I need to decide if I should take my existing consoles and import games from the UK or buy new consoles out there.

PS3 games are currently all region free, the box may say it's region X but I've not run in to a problem yet and I've got a US fat 60gb with region 1 and 2 games. I've also lent some of my region 1 games to my mate with a slim and that plays them fine too.

Films however are another story. If it's region locked to a different region it won't play, same if it's a copy. Although with that in a mind a lot of Blurays are also region free, try a google search as there's a site out there that lists the ones that aren't locked.
