Xbox Live (2 profiles on 1 acount?)

ok so I recently signed up and got myself on xbox live.

just wondering if anyone knows how I can get my brothers profile on my 360 to share my live account...is this possible or will he have to sign up and pay £40 odd quid for the years subscribtion as well?

I think you can only have 1 id per account but I could be wrong.

i think he needs to sign up too although some games allow a 'guest' to piggyback your account, one of thses games is Moto GP, two players can play on live with 1 account, it shows the second player with the same account name but with a 1 at the end i think or something like that.

The article suggests that you can both share a Gold account but you cannot login at the same time. Not sure how accurate that is.

One of the lads does this at work. He has a Gold account with all the achievements etc, his misses just has the free silver one, you can't share one Gold account.

it's not that we want to play at the same time, we justwant seperate profiles on the same 360 but sharing the one live account but from what lee said I doubt it's possible...boooo!

No, you should not confuse an Xbox Live account with a gamer profile. A single Xbox 360 console will be able to host several gamer profiles but each Xbox Live account is linked to one and just one Gamertag.
