Xbox Live Arcade: Paperboy

Up on the Dev Xbox Live arcade along with a golf game and a few others.

I've had enough this evening so I'm off home. I'll let you know what they are like tomorrow.

The mad thing is I work with a lad who worked on Paperboy at Elite all those years ago, and I worked there 13 years ago!

lol is it just me that hates arcade?
I didnt spent £300 on a console to play paperboy!
I was playing Mortal Kombat the other day...wot a pile of w**k!
I remember all the fuss about it when it came out!

paperboy has to be all time classic, i remember playing that thing in the arcade when it first came out with the handle bars ! not bad on the c64 either.

Paperboy is class, specially the stunt bit at the end, lol.

Games I'd love to see on arcade are:

Shinobi
Double Dragon
Renegade (remember Big Bertha!?)
Robocop
Batman
Manic Miner
Dizzy

Just had a quick dabble. It's perfect, still fun and still hard.

Also tried a Crazy Golf game which was fun and a simple shooting game called Heavy Weapon.

Worms was up also, same as it always was, it's worms.

There's loads coming to XBLA soon. There's more games than that up. God knows when we get them though.

I heard Double Dragon was out (or coming out) with 2 player online capabilities....I used to love that soooo much. Best get my elbow warmed up

I'll probably download Paperboy Great game all those years ago.

How big are the downloads? (I only have dial up because I live in the sticks) and it takes about 30mins to update my xbox each time lol.

They are all less than 64mb as they have to fit on a memory card. Most of those were less than 50mb.

Get a MAME emulator and download all the old original arcade roms for free. Although I have to admit i downloaded pacman from the xbox live arcade.

havent even opened it yet so dunno whats on it.. anyone know?
