i heard i could get a months free of xbox live? how do i get this?

baring in my the xbox i got is preowned.

but i have created my own gamertag.

You usually get it when you buy a new xbox...so you probably can't unfortunately. Just buy a subscription off ebay for £25 or something for a year.

You only get the months free trial when you create a new gamer account on a new xbox iirc. Otherwise people would forever be creating numerous XBL accounts to get free Gold membership.

obviously you cant just keep doing it every month but its definately not only just the once per console. I just made another account on the xbox in the bedroom to test it and i got a free months gold.
