Xbox play & charge kit

Are the Xbox play and charge kits compatible with turtle beach headsets?

They appear to plug into the bottom of the joypad like the headset, but my mate has one which plugs in near the top of the battery that he got with his Elite (I think he got it with it). If they plug in the bottom, can I plug in both my headset and P&C?

They aren't misleading at all, the connector is clearly different, even in that picture

I found the play and charge kit ok but just got rechargable batteries and a charger, always got some on standby and last ages!

Phew.... thought my headphones were broke

Looks like I'll be purchasing some rechargeable batteries soon as my play & charge is taking charges every couple of days now.

Though saying that it could be 3 years old already, it's had a lot of abuse
