You have to buy a genuine one as that is the only one thats works with the 360

Yep, just spend £250 and now more... not to mention gold subscription
i know someone who has a wireless booster thing and they plug their xbox into it via ethernet although i dont know what the prices are ill try and google

The 360 will think it has an ethernet connection, bought one for my brother a while back. Works on any wired network device (i've used one on a barcode reader)

Aye, a wirelss 'bridge' will work. Had a Netgear one working on my original Mk1 Xbox...as above needs setting up separately first though.
Once done the 360 will think it's connected using a normal CAT5 cable.
Yup this is what i use, £20 from ebay!
Set-up on PC/laptop by basically putting in your wireless name & password then plug it into the usb port (power) and ethernet port, and bobs a well know relative!

No the USB supplys the power from the xbox, no need for a mains.
I've had my 3 weeks and it's never dropped the signal or slowed an online game dramatically.
spending money when you don't have to, there's a good idea!
