Xenon adjusters

  172 cup

Fitted my xenons today to my cup which looks very good IMO. However one slight problem is when I adjust the height only the drivers side moves up and down I can hear the motor but not on passenger side, is the adjuster inbetween the bulbs the thing that moves it up and down??

Also I see theres another adjustment with a cog thing what does that adjust?

Also why aint the photos uploading from photobucket how do I import them into cliosport?

Yeah the thing with the white bit on top which is between the two covers is the up/down adjuster. Could be knackered if you aren't hearing anything (they can be had for a fiver on ebay) or it might be that the little white stick which attaches to the internals in order to move it up and down has come free of where it slots into - its basically a ball and slotted socket and they have a habit of breaking or just coming apart in transit when sent by Royal Fail. So its worth whipping the covers off and having a look inside see if you can see anything loose. Failing that swap the adjusters over.
The cog in the far right of your second picture adjusts the left right angle of the beam. Again if you pop the covers off you'll be able to see how it leads to a little white stick with a ball at the end which slots into a socket and by moving the stick forward and back on a screw it pushes the internals forward and back from one side i.e moving the beam left and right. Actually you can just about see it in the top left corner of your 1st picture, up and left of the igniter

Thanks mate, going to whip it off again on Saturday and swap the adluster around with one from my old halogens.
I checked the insides as was told to check the white plastic bit weren't broken and did see that it was attached so must be the motor.
