Xenon on a mk1 172

Is it possible to get my headlights upgraded to xenon, i have a mk1 172 on a Y reg. If yes, where from.

Not in GB it didnt.

I bought mine new and there wasnt any options at all !! there wasnt a options list cos it already came fully kitted !! :]

or are you just mistaking the dual optic headlight units for being xenons? (not being cheeky, but alot of people do!)

nope mine are deffo xenons. big round bulbs, that you cant see anything in.

they arnt xenons mate.. they are just projector type normal bulbs. Same as Fiat Puntos

yup spot on.

The puntos had them for a while.
They are just a "projector"lampwith a standard bulb behind.

Yea xenons normally have headlight washers (as required by law to be fiited to a new car with xenons) and some renault are labelled on the headlight and when u look at the back of the headlight there is a big electric shock sign the lights above are as liam 182 and has said projector type fitted to mk1 ph 1 172s si and etolie

just checked all the paperwork that came with my car,and mines an import, and on the options spec it has been fitted with xenons.

They never came with xenons !! Its a mistake m8.

Spot the difference with my non xenons uk car.

which kit did you get m8, and how much?

my R6 has "Gatling" style projector beams. Same as the MK1 172s, not xenon though.

xenons were never an option on Mk1 172 in the UK or any other market.

dual projectors with halogen bulbs are standard.

a couple of pics of xenons fitted to valver, as said above loads better than std, went for the x5 8000k kit and fitted them to mk1 angel eyes which have a projector thingy. price was just over £150 delivered...

it must b the photo m8, or do u mean it lights the leftside more than right? they do need adj a little tho imo
