xenon trouble

Driving home tonight and my headlights (dipped beam) start flickering, then all of a sudden they just turned off.
Pulled over and sidelights, tail lights indicators fogs etc still all worked just dipped beam didnt.
After lots of bashing and messing about couldnt get them back on so drove home with sidelights and front fogs on (only couple of miles from home) and then the dipped beam flicked on and stayed on for a bit, then turned off again..
anyone have any ideas what it could be?

Loose relay in passenger footwell, up behind glove box.

Just wanted to stick a post on here and bump this!

Had the same problem, sidelights, main beam and fogs all working except dipped beam. Checked bulbs all ok and fuses and checked the relays under the passenger footwell and one was pushed out. Pushed back in and all working fine. Checked around a few other sites and seems to be a common problem!
