xenon upgrades for 182

im not getting a definitive answer searching.

i want to upgrade the standard xenon bulbs on my 182 from 4300k to 6000k

some people say i need the 'd2s xenon bulbs' and some say 'h7 bulbs'

whats the answer!?!?!

d2s. they are xenon bulbs.

H7 are just normal bulbs.

If you get any, get them from here. Top service, next day delivery and cheap as chips. And mine have worked flat out for months with no problems.

I'm not too sure, my brother brought them home from work off a friend one day and they happened to fit my car. They look like these though!

Yeah, they were a straight swap you'll probably need to take the front bumper off though as access to the drivers side light is a little cramped

I haven't really noticed a massive difference, road signs seem to reflect brighter and the road ahead looks a little brighter/whiter. It's mostly changed the appearance of the car

Sidelights need to be removed.

You can't "upgrade" them to 6000k, they'll be bluer but will give out less light than the standard 4300K.

5000k will be a better upgrade as they give out the best ratio of daylight.
