Xenons? How Hard? Price?

How much should i expect to pay for a set of xenons for an 03 clio mk2 ph2?

Are they hard to fit?

You need all the ballest and computer unit etc but there easy to fit just need to take the bumper off to get to them on and get the old units off.

Legally you should have the washer jets as well and you should have the rear axle sensor fitted.

£350 for the complete pair everything you need... straight swap..

although as edde says they are illegal without automatic levelling and washers, i have neither

Should do, some places are more lax than others. Mine aren't fitted with them either, just had to swap the standard halogens in for the MOT.

Yes. Although as above some are more lax than others. You will attract the Police of you dont have the auto adjustment sensor fitted though.

i took mine to a local garage, who adjusted them to the right height with the car level..... the car bounces a bit with it being stupidly low... but ive not had any probs yet and ive been behind police and oncoming to them and they havent bat an eyelid

always them; Don't know much about them... But i'm sure its pretty much the same result with a lil less hassle and a fraction of the price. However, I'm not 100% sure, someone else will come along and explain more.

mixed opinions about conversions like the above, as the halogen units are not designed to take conversions like that and make the beam scatter all over the place.... probably the reason why renault spent money to develop proper xenon units in the first place...

i was on about the actual renault xenon headlight units here matey, theyre £350 new from matt black IIRC, and 3 times that from renault...

surely you are on about the 'xenon' conversions that there are many mixed opinions of on here...
