Xenon's Too High?

Has anyone had any issues with their 172 Phase 2' Xenon lights blinding other drivers by pointing too high? If so how do you adjust them please?
Many Thanks,

I was just about to post the same thing. Passenger side is just slightly high and it's blinging other drivers.

Hehe, just got ya test sooty as I was writing this.

:D :D

Any takers on this? so what happens if they are self adjusting incorrectly? can they be manually amended?

Wrong! you cant adjust them from in the car as you would regular headlamps with the roller switch on the dash as there is a level sensor on the rear beam that adjusts for weight in the rear. The aim can be set on the bacl of the lamp though but its best to get a dealer or garage with a beam setter to do it.

Im glad its not just my old clio thats doing it. Must be another one of those Renault 'glitches' they wont own up to.

It was the girlfriend that said it was blinding her when she was in front. So checked it when I was out at night and yeah the beam of light is a lot higher than the drivers side.

You can do it your self, I did, not sure where mine are pointing now but i can see much better at night, should probably get them done properly!

U get and allen key that fits in the white screw on the back of the head lamp under the bonnet, park in front of a wall and you can see the light move up and down as you do it, as you can tell i was there ages playing about with it!

DOH^^ beat me to it.

They are self-adjusting only for the purpose of loading the car...

As far as their "set" height is concerned: this can be adjusted using an allen-key on the adjuster (on the back of the headlights).

Your foglights can be adjusted too (in the same way).
