Xeon lights question

Hi everyone I've just bought a new set of Xeon lights for my 172 but there different from the ones thats on my car instead of the back rounds being black there silver apart from that there the same can anyone shed any light on this please, I got them of fleabay and they were advitised as Xeon's, just because if there not Xeon's I'm going to kick up a stink and send them straight back to seller

I think you are on about the inserts being black or silver. From what i understand they are exactly the same just from different models. Maybe i'm wrong.

Yep, grey inserts are off a 182 and black are off a 172. Grey looks better!

It's Xenon, not Xeon, but I guess you knew that already.

Probably look better as my car is silver as long as there Xenons I'm not to bothered( thanks tim my spelling is disgraceful lol) just because I paid a decent amount of money for them and if there not Xenons I'd be pritty pissed

I've been looking on the net and it said that they could be from a different country does this make any difference if they are??
