Xeonxs for my mk1 172

Car  E39 530i
Does any1 know where i can get Xeonxs for my mk1 172 (it's the one with the roundis head lights).

Am sure someone on this site has put them on their car. If so where abouts did you get them from and how much did it cost to get them fitted?

Oh if you know where i can get them from please post a link up. ;)

Just need to finish off that look.

Aren't these mega expensive if they get smashed or f**k up? I've seen a picture on here of a MK1 172 and someone has them on theirs. Look pretty cool though, wouldn't mind a pair myself but without the cost.

vinny has fitted them onto his mk2 ph1 with optic headlights. i was quoted 400to have them supplied and fitted into my mk2 ph2. however that was properly fitted, so an entire new headlight loom would be installed. you can splice them into your current loom but it can cause the bulbs to go frequently.

DIY kits are around the 200ish mark i think.

Yeah i have them, i would advise to get them fitted by pros like i did, they replace all wires etc for added protection and better results

The place i got mine from went bust, complete install can vary from place to place, heres a few pics

That's a lot of money for a bulb and a lot to install. Lights up the road nicely though mate.

Vinny, what spoiler do you have fitted? where did you get it from and how much?

Whats the best alternitive to Xenons, dont really fancy spending that much, i have just got standard bulbs in my dual optics, any ideas, link?

Sorry to hijack :D
