XP or W2k remote desktop connection to W2K professional (which is a client)

  E39 530i
How do I connect to a Windows 2000 client from another windows 2000 client or Windows XP client? Don't need / want to use VNC or other VPN connections which work over the internet.

I'm going this in house on a LAN, tried using netMeeting but doesn't want to work now. Ideally want to use Remote desktop, but the workstation which im connecting to is windows 2000 professional, which isn't possible without urgrading the OS to use Remote desktop to connect to it. Or is it?

by default RDP is disabled so you do have to enable it, not sure if its an option in w2k though, can't see why not, its not that old but i don't have 23k to try it sorry.

to enable it you right click on My Computer and click properties and then click on the remote tab to enable it to be connected to.

thats in xp anyway.
