I sorted him out with a different mirror a while ago, and it worked fine..
He's probably gone out as it said it had quite a while to go!

I'm in the process of downloading all of my demos from the UK, HK and US servers again as I had to format the Ps3 for the Linux install.
I did that long ago when I owned my XP PC, got a iMac now and love the OS so no need for Linux
As a media player my PS3 is now brilliant. VLC installed and playing all my downloaded material on my LCD TV perfectly.

Send me the addy u want it sent to. Or I can send to your work address?
On widescreen using a 720p or 1080i HDMI connection. Of course most of the downloads I choose are no longer HD.
Ooops meant to add this to the previous post.
i'm guessing he is talking about downloading the 350 or 700mb files which are from a HD source but not in those file sizes etc.On widescreen using a 720p or 1080i HDMI connection. Of course most of the downloads I choose are no longer HD.

huh? how come they are no longer HD ? surely if you have connected to your tv in 720 or 1080i then you would benefit from watching HD materials.
i have a logitech bluetooth keyboard and mouse which does have a usb thing to plug into the pc, doesn't mention linux support though.Bluetooth keyboards and mice are supported if you have a bluetooth usb dongle for it.
I'm planning on buying this wireless keyboard next month as it'll be ideal for the PS3 and Linux.

Sony are working with the linux developers to get working wifi, i would imagine it wont be long before bluetooth keyboards and mouse are supported aswell.
This should be a good upgrade
