Nice shots Callum. As for improving them, your shutter speed is a bit quick and aperture a bit wide. If you go for about f/11 - f/16 you'll get a sharper photo and you'll get more details in your highlights. You'll need a tripod though and I'd recommend using a polarising filter to cut down on the reflections. You should get those door cards fitted dude!

i am a complete camera noob, how do i change those settings mate? and i have decided i would rather spend the money on the outside than the inside, and did u fit the phase 2 dynamique bumper to your car yet?

Ah cool, fair enough pal. Camera-wise I think you're using a different brand to me, but the general jist should be the same. If you change it to Aperture mode using the dial on top (probably 'A' or something) and then find out how to scroll through the apertures until you get to about f/16. You should see that the shutter speed has dropped from around 1/10th of a second to a couple of seconds. If you try hand holding it you'll get a blurred shot, but if you use a tripod or flat surface it will come out well. Use a 2 second delay if you can find that too. I'll leave you to have a look through the manual anyway, bit hard to guess specific settings.

My car is currently parked up somewhere with a broken engine mount, can't sort it til I get back from uni and find myself an engine crane/ mechanic. Might put the bumper on after that lol.

i am getting a steal of an offer for a dynamique rear bumper and was wondering if it was just a straight fit ? or do you need to modify etc ?

thanks for the help with the camera btw mate and sorry to hear about the car

I used to live in livingston but i dont recognise that location.

Is it near the MC Arthur Glen by any chance or the big asda?

I already said in your other thread that it's a straight fit mate.

I'm liking the standard 172 :)

Car looks good, you need to get yourself some dual optics, they really complete the front end. Is it lowered on anything?

Would look cool if you painted the badge lettering/calipers yellow to match the front. As the diamond looks a little out of place

Got dual optics to fit but I am too scared to do them myself

And yea I think I am gonna do lettering etc

Dual Optics are easy dude, basically just splitting two wires. Can get you some photos at weekend if you like.. completely reversible as well.
