YOKOHAMA AD08's.

Car  Italian 3.2 V6
Are they any good?

Want a tyre that's brilliant on road but better on the track than PE2's and Conti sport 2's etc.

Are the AD08's what I'm looking for?

Thanks.

How much can you buy them for (15's) AD08's are about £75 each. Are they alot better?

I was passenger in an EK9 round croft at the weekend and the hankook RS2's are very good. Back to back test with 888's (pretty worn tbf) and in damp (certainly not wet and defo no standing water) and the RS2 were far more confidence inspiring. For 15's I think they're around £50 a corner. Completely forgetting the 888's the hankooks seemed a good tyre and didn't overheat or go off on a long hard session but I cant comment on what they would be like on a hot summers day.

Owner of the Ek also rates them highly on road - he's literally the most critical person i've ever met so for him to like them speaks volumes.

Sounds good, just check camskill and go for a good price aswell.

I'm no expert on tyres but they sound a good all rounder ATM.

Can anyone recomend a better tyre for same sort of money?

I think they're described as a summer tyre which might mean that come true winter conditions they may be pretty poor

I cant fault my Uniroyal RS2's in any weather condition, astounding tyre in the wet personally.
