hehe all fukkin day nearly i was runnin 15.1s
then craggy pulled a 15.01 or summat........
well had to beat it dint i lol
14.9.........buzzin thatl do him lol.......adi runs 14.7 b*****d
now il have to better my personal best to level with him lol

paddy n adi i feel a bit of a c**t for u lads ........ iv neva seen york so fukkin unorganised weve usually had 5 runs n 2-3 hours watchin racin b4 dinner fuk knows wot append today but hopefully itll be sorted for next time

my mates went there 2 had 5turbos a black 1 with over 250 bhp cant tell because the rolling road only went up to 250 bhp n he went of the scale and another grey 1 wich has 147bhp with 25bhp noz kit on and the grey 1 won he came 1st with a 14.1 my other mate was gutted just proves u have to be a good driver and my other mate had the fastest gtr 1 there a black 1 gutted i didnt come now because every time i have raced my mate in his grey 5 turbo i hav always beat him till about 80-90oh well there is always next time lol

Just popped in to see how you all did - well Im impressed, some really good times there.
I was the Red Type R only did 2 runs due to immense boredom waiting for the muppet organisers to get us on the strip. Saying that it was better than Pod from a comparison point of view.
We ran 14.7 first and the second run I was pitched against one of you guys who had a bad start.
Fun day but once a Vtec engine has cooled down you are never going to get to up to working temperature in 30 secs which makes it pointless.
I feel for the guys who waitied 4 hours - 2 hours was more than enough for us - especially the Mrs.
Wasnt it - the Marshall 12 year old with a walkie talkie I felt sorry for as he didnt have a clue what was going on.
Ive a few snaps to upload - Ill post a link later if you want - the Mrs was in charge of the camera so Im not confident they will be much cop - fingers crossed.

A standard cup should run around 14.9 - I was not even going to run my cup - as it has only done 1737 miles. I was pissed off with my time of 15.01 - hopefully should be in the 14s next time. In addition, I need to stop eating Mrs Migs special breakfast with extra sausage!

There were 2 people who signed on without licenses infront of me and they let them run. I was supposedly meeting the CTR chappy there but we had to go (I was forced to leave) before we had a chat.
Ive not seen many a CTR run less than the time I got yesterday. Youve got to remember the Civic is a much larger car than a Clio and brick like so if its similar in speed then thats good enough for me - all down to the driver.
Speaking of which - if anyones interested Im at Donington on the 21st May - Bookatrack job evening session.
Should be a laugh.

the organisation was really sh*t i only managed to get 4 runs in all day but we will kno for last time to get there early and not let em put us in the racing classes

Does anyone else not think the terminal times are very low considering the sub 15 secs 1/4 mile times? I went to crail when i first got my car (900 miles) and did a 15.4 @94 mph (2 k start, being nice to clutch) my speedo was saying 99-100 mph. Also when teady did his 15.0 last summer he terminald@ 95 mph. Im going back this weekend with 3000 miles on it so hopefully see a sub 15 and taking the AP22 with me to see wot it says im doing over the line.
york mph is always quite low i thort, and iv always thort crail is stupidly high comparatively. end of the day im gonna have to run at crail. theres no other way round it or your gonna have to run @ york, i lined up with jon yesterday and hes never been out accelerated by a 172/cup on an even start top end and i held him almost to the line, so i know iv got some poke his goes like f**k, paddys adis and tims are all beast motors, just the difference at venues sparks off debate, im sure you wouldnt kick there ass either way, possibly match, but not have a faster car. just my 2p worth
SO wanted to go! was even considering let my mate take my car down for me then swapping drivers at the last minute! still, not long til i get my license back(a week!). Craggy, i owe you an apology, your VTS would quite obviously murder my 1800 no matter what start i got! a 14.9 is a bit fukin special! id be over the moon if i got that in mine after the engine transplant let alone with my 1800! very impressive times all and will hopefully be able to make it to a 1/4 mile day soon!
