I had a little ride out to the Buttertubs pass this morning - set off at 0630am and it was really quiet, hardly any other cars on the roads. Some really epic roads so took quite a few pics - my apologies for the pic heavy thread!

There were even a few crazy bikers out caning it around and it was pretty damp!

Looking forward to the meet now so can go back!

And this one was my favourite of the day.

Ahhhh I love it up there! that road upto ribbleshead viaduct (in the pics) is one of my all time favourites (second to blakey ridge in the north york moors)

Was alright mate. To be honest I was taking it steady as I had the verbal speed limiter in with me.

Not sure i'd like to be hammering it over there if the car was dropped 60mm!

Lol no my mini was dropped 35mm on eibachs so I was scraping the front bumper a lot, id prob be more cautious in the clio! I do have a vid I did with my camera mount but im not sure whether I could get in trouble posting it on the net... I prob wasnt going over the speed limit so might be ok!

Certainly was.

I can see it becoming exceptionally busy in summer - especially bikers!

Something like 55 bikers have died on that stretch of road in the last five years!
