welcome.............and thats a very nice looking mini, how much is she .....?
lol This is where a lot of you scream "WHAT"????

Its going up at £7k. Its one of the very last off the production line and had every extra (and more). If you look in the Auto Trader, specialist mini mags or mini sites they will confirm the price tag. Especially when you consider how much has gone into it! Im gutted to see it go cos it is a mega fun car and gets a hell of a lot of attention! Its just like driving a Go-kart but its just not quite quick enough for my liking. So its time to move on:(

I had a cooper s on a 92 j plate and it was great to drive.I went everywhere in it and if you want a cup your on the right way for another great.Coming from the mini you will feel at home with a slightly bare cabin, but you get electric goodies now and you will not be dissapointed. My 172 is great and for driving thrills the cup is slightly better. As a rule the cups dont go that wrong because there isnt as many things to go wrong in them.

welcome

Thanx Ian thats what i want to hear;)

Im a bit of a racing nut and driving fun is way more important to me than having all the comforts. As you say its more things to go wrong!! Mind you anything is more reliable than the mini!! 26000 miles and the gear box threw its hand in!. £900 later its had a new gear box and head re-conditioned as the compression was slightly low too!

Oh btw, The names Nige (short for Nigel, obviously) and im from Southport (between Preston and Liverpool)
