If you download the latest version of Realplayer theres an option to download youtube videos. Also if your running firefox, there are many add-ons that do the same.

If you use firefox just install the Easy Youtube Video Downloader.

It streamlines buttons into the youtube page to allow you to download it in different formats/quality.
