i worked part time like a dog in between college and then uni, bearing in mind full time durin holday and tim off studies.....sainburys and b&q........3 and a half years. saved up and bought an absolute mint monaco blue valver on a L reg. paid 6500 4 it back then.....30k on the clock. from trade. som high performance place in wimbeldon. years ago.........had it for years, f***kin loved it....best car ever owned....i f***kin killed it though....killed da engin.....poor little car...now 26 and rollin around in its bigger bro, a 52 reg monaco blue FF 172......

i dropped out of uni at 19 and bought a 3 year old 206 xs 1.6 which i spent a fortune on, I also bought a two bed flat at the same time. dont regret dropping out of uni now the house prices have rocketted lol! im now 23

My dad had one of the very first XR3's in the country. I can still remember it, as he sold it to my grandad when he moved on to bigger cars. In blue it was with those same wheels. Hes had many cars since - including numerous high power BM's and his current xk8, yet he still goes on about what a fantastic car the xr3 was.

Its not like its a ferrari! i pay 1500 a year for insurance 3rd party and 160 a month for the payments, hardly breaks thr bank.

ive never once borrowed any money or had any money towards my cars i work between 40 and 60 hours a week just for the privilage of owning a nice/fast car at a young age!!

Insurence is quite high like!

£2200 also a £600 service when i got t he bad boy! 4 new tyers £84 each!

hell yeah u must all be paying abput £500 a mth on insurance if ur 19 with a 172/182!

I had a 106 qs wen i was 19 then bought a yellow 106 gti with my fella but everyone took the piss with his and her cars!

bought the 172 wen i was 23 and the insuance is still just under a grand

well me being 19 was along time ago, but back then at that age I was driving around in a 2.8i special Fard Capri
