Your Gear Changes

I drive a 2002 1.2 v8 (Ok 8v). How many revs do people normally change into what gear, is 4000rpm from 4th to 5th gonna screw my engine over?

no change at the limit if you want or change at 2000 do what ever you want

As long as its warmed up, serviced at the correct intervals and you keep a check on the oil levels the engine will be fine

If Im ragging it I change at about 4,5000, 5,000. Not much left at those sort of revs.

When its warm I change at 4k only because power drops of after then.
