hi im new here,
Had my clio for 2 weeks now
Just looking for some advice, ive noticed a noise coming from my 172 sport, when under acceleration, it doesn't do it if you rev very slowly up, but if you stick your foot down of blip the throttle engine makes a loud tapping sound and its starting to piss me off. Its not tractor like on idle, its smooth until you get to about 2000 rpm.
Is it likely to be the D pulley, or possibly a loose spark plug? i took the cover off the top to get to spark plugs didn't realise the the stuff you have to remove to get to them. So before i check it is, it it worth just taking to a specialist to diagnose it.
