Yea but k-tec are constantly bad though...

BB & Yozzasport rarely ever make mistakes and if they did they take full reasonability for them!

no offence but yozzasport have hardly been doing it long enough to have made many mistakes

midge, no it isn't acceptable and i have appologised (publically too!)

i could've been a t**t and told you to stick it and then whinged to the mods and had this thread removed, but as everyone has said i'm a decent bloke and openly admit i'm not perfect!

as a company we haven't been going long, but we've been in the clio game since 2000, we've come across many dodgy people and companies along our path and we know what's right and what isn't

call me and i'll sort you out (normal business hours please 9am - 5pm)

Think everyone knows the answer to that really! Fred and Andrew have been members for ages, so they're always going to be treated different. Hopefully they won't take advantage of it ;)

Fred - whats the difference between these discs and and the high carbon ones??

Apart from the price increase of the high carbon ones, i understand they obv have a higher carbon content but is there much difference brake wise?

Wilwood are 1 of the best calipers you can get, we use them on all the kit cars, rallycross and fast road applications

  Clio f7r Trackcar
kit looks ace. will be on the fone soon to get some! ;)

as with most people in the motorsport/car buissiness phoning is a much easier option for everyone. txt'ing and emails can be missinterpreted, and its hard to find out exactly that the customer wants!

at FCS i didnt know who Fred or Yozza were and i didnt want to find out who they were and ask where my brake kit was to be told i would have to wait longer (the kit may have been there but i didnt know this), that would have put a downer on the day for me.

Subway - i can put up with late delivery time (moderately), i know that unexpected things can happen, what pissed me off was the lack of communication from Yozzapsort to me.

from my understanding when i ordered the kit on a saturday i was told i'd have it the following tuesday or wednesday, i was then told yozzasport didnt have the calipers. king stomba had the kit fitted to his car a week before fcs, which means the kits must have been avalaible a week before fcs, bit i wasnt sent mine for whatever reason. i spoke to Fred the day after fcs and was told the kit was at fcs and was ready for me and it would be sent out asap. i recieved the kit yesterday after many emails and a few phone calls.
i was told by Yozza on monday that it was sent out 24 hour delivery, i recieved it Thursday and the date sent stamp on the packet was 7/6 which was the Wednesday.

Changing your courier would be a good idea, Yozza/Fred/whoever wrote my address on there "54 etc etc" the courier put a sticker label thing on the packet "57 etc etc" and delivered it to 55.

i know that Yozza and Fred are good guys, Fred has helped me out with a few bits before, but this kind of service is unacceptable, and after ringing Yozza to explain to him the complete c**k up the couriers done of delivering it to right house to not recieve an apology for the whole delay/service/communication pissed me off.

you can all make of that what you want. im sure Yozzasport will take care of thier customers better after this experience.

there were 4 people sporting Yozzasport Shirts.

One was big a hairy - Andrew.
One was Fit as f**k - The promo bird (Not Fred)
One was Homo looking - Fred
And another dude too.

Your making a mountian out a mole hole. The lads are busy, fred sorted me out a plenium chamber as a favour in between day-to-day work.

Sometimes business's have problems.

Im not making a mountain out of a mole hill, i have not exagerated anything, i have simply told of my experience with a business.

Fred has/is going to compensate me for the poor quality of service i have recieved.

I guess you win some you lose some.

Perhaps I have missed the point but if they were my brakes I'd have:

a) Picked the f* phone up and called them
or better
b) Just went to see them at FCS

As for lack of communication and personal service (which is what you seem to demand), try dealing with someone like Demon Tweeks as I have regularly done. Every time I've had something late, they don't call, they don't chase it down - unless you contact them. They are a big established company too, not someone just starting out and they have hundreds of staff.

I can't imagine a member of Demon Tweeks offering "compensation" to you, in fact I know they wouldn't. Likewise I can't imagine them having representatives as accountable and decent as Fred and Yoz.

Moreover, of my experience with them both, I can't imagine another supplier of brakes giving up their Sunday afternoon to help talk me through fitting the brakes and lines on my valver (that I will add, were a very good price in any event).

They offer the most personal service and sometimes they get it wrong. I think the big difference between another company and YS is that Fred has gone out of his way to sort it - with your attitude and public slating I'd have not bothered to be frank.

Just my view for what it's worth.

again, i have not slated the company i have just told of my experience, i had sent many emails to contact the company.
didnt want to put a downer on my fcs and be angry the whole day if the kit wasnt there.

I didnt demand anything, when something ordered is very late it would be nice to be updated as to why it is late and what exactly is going on, i was always given sketchy reasons, and as for chasing it up, many emails sent and a few very short conversationg with Fred on msn.

It seems many people here are looking at it as being Fred and Yoz when its not its Yozzasport, i.e the company not the individauls

Lol, okay so we look at the company then and not Fred and Yoz as individuals...

First point, why treat them like individuals then?:

"few very short conversationg with Fred on msn"
"many emails sent"

If you were dealing with a company you don't bombarde them with emails or msn them for heaven's sake, you ring them and talk properly?

Second point:

"when something ordered is very late it would be nice to be updated as to why it is late and what exactly is going on, i was always given sketchy reasons, and as for chasing it up, many emails sent and a few very short conversationg with Fred on msn"

Treat them like a company then - they have plenty of things to do, your brakes aren't the only things as I am sure you know. Harsh reality but it's true and I've no doubt that whilst valuing you as a customer, they have other customers as priorities at certain times (as any company does).

So, if you were treating them like a company, why are you expecting them to contact you and tell you about late delivery and so forth? Is this what a company does, of any size with any resources (let alone a small company, with plenty to do and limited resources)?

In any event, Fred and Yoz (Andrew) are individuals and they do run the company so getting away from individuality may be a bit hard. That said, they add a personal touch that bigger companies just won't - as Fred has shown in this thread.

I use Demon Tweeks as an analogy again... think about it?

The emails were sent to the yozzasport email address, when i got no reply i spoke to Fred, as said before i didnt have the numbers because i lost my phone and at the time i wasnt angry at what had happened.

If something is a week (or 4) late surely it should be prioritised over other goings on?? or it should be pushed further and further back??, and come on mate sticking a bit of tape round a box and giving it to a courier to deliver isnt going to take hours is it.

The way you are going on is as if this kind of service is normal, as someone else said if this was another company not represented on this forum, for example Demon tweeks im sure you and others would be reacting diffrently.

Mr Merc would you be happy with the kind of service recieved by me from Yozzasport?... think about it?

Fred has offered me something, i see this as resolved.

I understand that i SHOULD have spoke to one of Yozzasport team members at fcs but like i said i didnt want put a downer on the day if it wasnt there.
i also understand that i should have tryed harder to contact Yoz, but in no way is it my fault that this kit was 5 weeks late getting to me.
