i dont have a 1.2, i have a 2 litre clio 200, im just surprised nowhere seems to provide the flexi pipe just on its own without being welded up to the manifold
I havent taken the pipe off yet, so dont have the dimensions, a local motor factor guessed the pipe should be of similar outer diameter, flexi length and overall length as whats fitted on the earlier versions (172/182 etc) but want to make sure before ordering anything.
Hi all, Im hoping someone can point me in a direction where i can get a front flexi exhaust pipe for my Clio 200 Cup, Renault have told me they dont supply the flexi pipe without the manifold (£500+) my existing manifold has no issues with it, so all i need is the flexi pipe and then i can get...
Some great pics there! looks like a fine day in whitby eh?
Karl- hope you don`t mind me asking but where did you get the fk coilovers from?, just i`m after a set myself :)
Im not sure of its *just* a consett thing, i have seen some sights up there though! two cars spring to mind...a nasty yellow old style corsa, bean can exhaust..(which was trailing on the ground) and a nissan primera...red with black wheels and a spoiler which could have been a ironing board hehe
I`ve had 120mph out of my clio (1.4) with just an induction kit fitted, i`ve since got a full de-cat exhaust system..but i haven`t tested the top end of it yet, it does seem quicker though in general.
Chris3110... cheers matey its done to please myself, which is surely the main purpose/reason for modifying isn`t it!?
LeighK18... I`ll be in touch if i decide to flog the smoothed boot :)
I still need to get the car colour coded though so i think the back of it should look pretty smart, i have considered getting a 172 style rear bumper..but i`m not too sure if i`ll have this car for long enough to warrant the extra cost...we`ll see :)
Cheers!
The bootlid and spoiler were purchased from a seller on e-bay, as he wanted to return his 172 to standard...so the boot was already smoothed, i then got the spoiler and the boot fully resprayed by a local bodyshop, saved me the hassle and cost of getting my original boot smoothed and...
When i fitted the induction kit, i noticed the car was more responsive certainly- i tested the top end and it levelled out at 120mph, i haven`t tested it since getting the de-cat, but it definately feels quicker.
i`ve been considering getting a 172 rear bumper/front bumper/sideskirts etc...but i`m unsure as to how long i`ll have the car for, and i would like to upgrade to a 172 cup if i can within the next year or so...
Wheels will definately happen though, along with full color coding, and i`d been...
I was driving a metallic grey clio 1.4, you had a nurburgring decal on the back of your car...and quite a few passengers..yesterday lunchtime/afternoon...anyone from here?
Thanks...
i`m considering getting Kei rss 17" rims in gunmetal...but im a tad indecisive as to whether i should go as big...and whether to go with gunmetal or perhaps black hmmmm
Ok here is some pictures of my clio
2003 Dynamique , had it for a little over 6 months and been gradually modifying it bit by bit to my taste.
So far i`ve added the following:-
K&N 57i induction kit
Custom full de-cat exhaust system by AAS with 3.5" pipe
Lowered 40mm on Gmax springs
