I've just had a look and this 5 day rule seems legit. you learn something new every day :)

I thought you weren't allowed to buy it online the day before it runs out? And isn't the law 'failing to display a valid tax disc' So regardless of if you've bought it or not, if its not on show and you drive the car or leave it on a public road it's against the law.

I've felt the same twice. I sold my first 172 to my brother (who still has it lol) and couldn't find anything I liked so bought a 182. After another 2 years, I felt like you and thought I wanted to change, I sold it cheap and wasted a few grand on different cars before I ended up back with...

My previous 2 clios had standard exhausts, but my current 182 had a Yozza and that was way to loud for me. I swapped it for a Janspeed cat back with silencer and its basically like standard now, unless you floor it then you can hear it a little. But there is no drone at all when driving around...

^^^Yes, totally agree.

A standard VXR is not that much quicker than a ClioClio, but for a few hundred pound, you can an extra 30-40 bhp.. If only it was that cheap in the Clio lol :(

Little update. The car is now in with Fred, getting a few things done, Aux belts, thermostat, rear bearings and service. Ive bought some new wheels, standard 182 anthracite ones. So as soon as I get the car back, I'll order a full set on tyres, not decided which ones yet and get the wheels on...

But 205 are usually about tenner more.

People have suggested this is a Yozza, but before i put it up for sale, i just want to check. So is this a Yozza exhaust? And yes the car is absolutely filthy, i havent cleaned it yet since picking it up :dapprove:

Thanks :) yeah I have looked into that process of doing it myself before, but it's a very long and tedious procedure, so I think I'll get it done professionally. Thanks for the advice ill give some powder coaters a call today.

Cheers, Do you know of an exhaust that is as close to standard (sound wise)? I don't mind it being slightly louder when on full throttle, but not all the time.
