Got it sorted today turned out to be a faulty ignition barrel. So 20 quid for one out the scrappy and an hour changing it and now its getting sold. So i can get my new toy :evil:
right i checked it and it was fine but it was a little rusty so i swapped it and the problem has kinda changed. Now the clock dosent even come on at all unless i switch on my light then it comes on but nothing else still isnt going.
Starts and drives fine i thought it might be a flat battery too but i went a run for half an hour to try and charge it a bit but it didnt make a difference
got in my car to drive it this morning and when i put the ignition on i had no heaters. so i started it and i have found out that my heaters, CD player, cig lighter and heated rear screen don't go on.
Every time i try to put one of them on the clock up top of the dashboard goes off.
Need help...
So im selling a set of 17'' wheel and tyres and a guy has just emailed me asking if they would fit a mk3 golf.
Tyre size is 205/40/17 7J, PCD 4x100, ET 38.
Had a look on google but cant find a definite answer so would greatly appreciate it if someone could tell me.

ive got ph2 rears on it already and al need to see about some dual optics. I know what you mean though its just crying out to be lowered.
If im lowering it do i just need springs or do i nedd shockers aswell?
Its not that im trying to get silly gains on my bhp but if i can do some cheapish stuff to it while ive got it the now then why not. Ive got 4 months til 1yrs ncb then ill get something with a bit more oomph

My mate was going on about something he heard today saying there was a way of getting a 1.8 Laguna injection system or something like that and put it on. Any truth to this?

What your saying about brakes make sense. Do all the smaller engined clios have those pathetic discs on the front of em.
Anyone know what discs and callipers will fit straight on?
to get it to go a bit quicker?
Any help would be great. So far ive gained a little more acceleration by ditching the 17's and going for some 15's instead. Other than that all ive done is serviced it.

Cheers for all your ideas lads but the drums are going yellow just because i want to be different and not the same as everyone else. As for the wheels if i can get a set of 16s cheap enough then al get them and refurb them.
