I work in a garage myself and if this had happened to us then we would be doing everything we could to sort out the problem but at the same time we are insured incase things like were ever to happen!
Hope you get it all sorted nice a pain free buddy!
Never thought of this before but now you mention it I can see how it would work ;) think I may have to steal it lol
should be running about 400+ when it's all mapped up in a few weeks!
You could also wind two nuts onto the bolts when you get the discs off, lock them off against each other and then unwind the stud by undoing the nut closest to the hub
it is only one piece just the boot ring up any motor factors and ask for a steering rack boot and they will send you one. Can either get one specific for the car or a universal cut down one normally about 15 quid. Nice and easy to change take the wheel off and remove track rod end (make sure you...
Wow they must have been mega tight! I have never seen that! To remove the disc get a screwdriver that fits the screws well, give it a few taps with a hammer on the head of the screwdriver and that should help then you should be able to unscrew them have done loads like that due to our impact...

Thanks Bud! and she is ;)
Maybe later when...

Okay will give that a go today! If that fixes the problem would it be worth putting a new one in? Also where about's is it on a 172? Sorry for all the questions new to this Renault stuff lol
Okay so Im struggling diagnosing my starting problem on my 172, It all started about two weeks ago when I tried to start the car and it just turned over and over sounded like it wanted to start but wouldn't, I turned the ignition back off and on again and it started on the button.
This started...
Don't know if this can happen on clios, but, when I was putting the engine in my old 205 the same thing happened to me and it ended up that I have fried the ecu??
Thanks for all the comments guys mega helpful! Sounds like the bilsteins for me tbh but gonna have to wait now as gotta spend the money on the parts to fix my gf's head gasket :( so the poor clio will have to stay looking like a truck for a little longer :(
Nice looking clio!
