Previous owner of my car mentioned the speedo wasnt working when i bought.
Having worked for Renault as a tech for a few years i had replaced a few speedo sensors, today i went to remove the sensor for the part no to order a new one.
I discovered i have no sensor, and no hole for it.
Has anyone any ideas what can be done to resolve this except forking out for another box with the speedo drive.
My mates the senior tech at my old work so he's going to see what he can find out regarding reprograming it to take readings from the ABS.
Just wondering of anyone has had any success doing this beforehand, or has any other solutions.
I've borrowed a road angel from a mate for when i start using the car but i would rather that was only a temporary solution.
