Its an absolute stone waller on your part.

She's managed to damage not one but two cars, you could drive two frigging busses down that road side by side ffs!

Was her lipstick squint per chance?

Suprised she's not getting charged with dangerous driving

Gutted for you fella. Out of all the cars in the road she had to hit the decent one.
Hope you get it sorted.

well if it makes you feel any better i had something similar last year

young ned came flying round the corner and into the back of our 2 day old (yes 2 days from factory) and pushed it into the front of out other golf

so the new one got fixed and the mk3 got written off

then 8 months later just recently same with happened but not as bad and the t**t drove off

so new door and wing for the fiesta i replaced the golf with and new golf back in for repair again

hence the reason there is 4 guys outside building a driveway now :D

I have just told the insurance companys and i should hear from them on monday, If she admits liabilty the car will be picked up and i will get a courtsey car too.

What happens if she doesn't admit liabilty?????

Leave that for the insurance companies to sort out. I would have thought your insurance company will pay for the repairs anyway and then recover the costs from hers? I'm not sure that's how it works, but I can't see the repairs being delayed if she does deny blame.

Looking at the evidence it's pretty near impossible to see how she wasn't at fault. Well, she's a woman so obviously it won't be her fault, but you get what I mean. "ZOMG it just zoomed off, and his car came out of nowhere!! He's an idiot!!111 pmmphhh pffft"

Clear cut IMO. Any road narrower than a runway + any other cars or obstacles anywhere + vagina = accident.

Shirley if the cars were parked up, the responsibilty can only lie with the driver?!
Exactly mate, your cars were parked, shes in the wrong, its not like she can say "that 172 cup just jumped out in front of me" lol

It'll get sorted. Gutted for you.

she wont need to admit liability once her insurance company are informed they will tale liability regardless due to your cars being parked in a safe manner

one thing i will say is that if her insurance company offers to deal with you direct DONT and i learnt the hard way with this

when my mk3 golf was written off that i spoke about in my other post they guys insurance company offered to deal with me direct

i agreed and when they didnt give me a fair price for my car i said i wasnt accepting it and was going to ombudsman. they then were happy to point out that the ombudsman wont entertain my complaint as its not my insurance company. If i had gone through my own insurance company and got offered a low amount i could have faught my case

so defo stick to dealing with her insurance company through yours buddy

There's no way at all she can say it wasn't her fault so I wouldn't worry about that mate. I'd be prepared for the clio to be written off, shame for you looked a nice motor.

Similar thing happened to my mum's Seicento about 2 years ago, hit in the nearside rear quarter whilst parked up. That was written off due to bent/snapped rear axle and all the cosmetic damage.

There is no contest of liability in these cases, it's an open and closed case.

Yup, she doesnt have a leg to stand on. She might want to argue but her insurance company wont let her.

Similar thing happened to me. The woman decided to try and fight it, insurance company told her she was in the wrong and paid out.

Same thing happeded to me, parked on a striaght road, under a street lamp, 50cc crosser straight into the back, over the roof and down the bonnet! Bye Bye my nicely modified 306Xsi. Gutted for your Kev, local boy too, is that Elm Drive in Crewe sort of way? The roads round there are well wide!

Roffle. What was her account of events? She was driving down the road and all of a sudden you parked your car infront of her? Was she driving the Lols Royce?

Gutted for you mate. Realy nice car this, its a write off tbh though. Jut keep hold of the half leather interior, turini's, ktec stealth and get another.

Some people are idiots arn't they.

Just after you got your new bumper and had the belts done.

FFS.

You should buy it back off the insurance btw. Looking at Jords thread he may need an engine an this has just had belts done etc he could easily convert it to cable throttle and you could take your parts and sell the rest they would only want a few hundred quid for it.

Although I cant believe no one has asked for pics of the driver or passengers lol

If you called the police out to the scene then the officer will have filed his own report so if need be the insurers will look at this and will help your case further.

However as said she won't have a leg to stand on, in fact I would be surprised if she doesn't get a letter from the police threatening to prosecute her for dangerous driving or at least a section 59.

That cup does look in mint condition aswell and the colour of the wheels really suit it imo, will be hard for you to take in I'm sure. I'd have been absolutely fuming tbh.
