If i could change the title i would. Dont think i can class it as oem anymore. Not with 4pots, corbeau seat, this engine etc

The other seat looks very ODD. Its the standard one with the crappy pattern. Looks very out of place.

It'll be stripped fully when i can get the dollar to have the floor sprayed properly. Dont forget the weight saving that has gone on - (no sound deadening at all now, interior loom thinned out and cut down, brackets cut out etc) Its not a heavy weight at all
Plus the new lump is going to help.

Looks alot better than how i got it covered in muck.
Still got to paint the rocker and do some other bits but its getting there.
Debating to do the sump silver aswell, easier to spot leakage?

Little update with what i've been up to.
As the weather is poop i've decided to stay in the garage and fondle the engine.
I've been taking out a lot of bolts on the bodies, and running a tap and die through it all to make sure all the threads are sweet. (Tap and die is my new favorite tool of all time!)~
And polished the trumpets / butterfly's / backing plate. That's right, s**t got shiny:

Little Update.
Got myself another OMP leggera 4point harness:
Only after numerous emails to Demon-Tweeks, usualy they are top notch but i was waiting over a month for even a confirmation email this time. But all sorted now
Bought some of my favourite tools/consumables:
But me being a hulk of a man i fitted a few and snapped my 4mm bit so ive got a new rivnut gun coming.
As above i mentioned that ive only just got back in the uk. Just been out to AbuDhabi and stayed in the most amazing hotel ever. "Emirates Palace".
If you want luxury, go to this hotel. Its not cheap as we found out but its one hell of an experience.
The Hotel:
Two of the guys staying there (in there 20's i may add!) pulled up in these:
The cars at the hotel were awesome. Phantoms, 458 italias, r8's, SLS, maserati's, Lamborghinis, etc, the list goes on.
Also paid a visit to Ferrari World, Ferrari's own theme park. It was wierd to go to a theme park that was near enough completely empty. But it meant there was no que for Formula Rossa, the fastest coaster in the world. (0-150 in 2.something seconds)

Its a lovely place mate, if id known i would of spoke about it last night. Nothing can really prepare you for the heat, this was my first time to Abu dhabi but third to the UAE. Top place!
Made a bit of progress today.
Managed to RivNut both doors, 20 in each door. Now waiting for my order from pro-bolt so i can attach the door cards.
Also bought 2 new 106 handles for the door cards.
I managed to modify my low seat mount that i found to low on the drivers seat, so it fitted on the passenger side. Bit of fiddling and its on. Passenger seat will be lower and further back than the drivers seat for weight distribution etc
Managed to get rid of all the passenger seat belts and fixings, mounted new eye bolts for the harness. Now just waiting for my passenger seat and mounts to turn up. and the interior will finally be done.

Both seats are in - Door cards and fitted and fixed with pimpin pro-bolt fixings.
Now the interior is complete for me, all my time will be spent getting the new lump ready to be dropped in, wired and mapped.
Until i get the DSLR out, heres a quick pic of how it looks inside.
Ill be on the sax-p stand at FCS so feel free to come say hi if you see me about.

Yea LOL poor guy. Hopefully he will see sense and have a shave, You cant go around in life looking like Peter Sutcliffe all day its just wrong. My Nikon is a bit temperamental at the mo but its still good. Give me a shout when you go
