Fuel filter

Would a 1.2 fuel filter on a 172 make any difference in power etc ? Just curiois and havent seen it covered

Just fit the correct part for the car mate, don't quite get why you would want to put the wrong fuel filter on.

I'm guessing it because he's got a 1.2 with an f4r in it.

I was under the impression the filter was in the tank and can only be changed by changing the tank?

Aye it's built into the pump other than on very early ph1s.

Never changed the filter when i put the f4r in..where is the fuel filter locoated then i obviously changed the fuel pump but didnt see a filter anywhere ?

Fuel filter is located in the tank as part of the lift pump mate.
