Short Aerial

What short aerial do people use?

I tried a C2 one (I think it was) and the fit to the aerial base was terrible,

I've been looking into this recently, depends how short you want it. I know a lot of people either went for the Civic Type R aeriel or Mazda 3 MPS.

How well does it match up to the aerial base? Quite a smooth transition or a big old step?

Perfectly smooth I think. I'll dig it out and take a fitted pic if I can.

I can honestly say I've not paid any attention to the ariel, but this might be something that needs doing.
Back in the day I fitted a corsa bee sting ariel on my mini, and every weekend when I was pissed staggering home I'd borrow any corsa ariels I'd see. I had quite a collection in the end!

I recently fitted a Honda S2000 stubby aerial £8 on eBay

I kinda like the original aerial. Makes it look like an RC car!

If you want OEM look, get a VX220 one.
