***How much is it worth?***

  53 plate 172
53 Plate 172

Monaco Blue

59,000 miles

I've owned it since new

MOT end of Oct-16

Part service history (Renault Dealer/Specialists up to Oct-11, 34K)

That’s when things started to go wrong with the car. Every time I booked the car in for Mot and service I had to forego the service due to the repair bills!!

Last serviced Oct-15

Belts replaced 7.5 years ago at 17K

I think the water pump needs replacing as the coolant is leaking.

The CV joints will probably need replacing as I'm getting the knocking noise when on full lock.

Rear bumper requires repairing due to scratches.

Headlight washers are missing.

Alloys have marks from kerbing but generally (apart from the above) the car is in very good condition for its age. I basically only use it to go to work and back.

£750 really.

I have a 55,000 mile Monaco that I've spent the last two years restoring. Just about to have its full respray any day now.
That will be up for £2795 but it needs nothing and is mint.

4x 15" OZ F1's
Original Renault ones
Just been powdercoated so mint
With centre caps

How much should I be looking at paying?

Mates got some which he might sell, and quite fancy some for the track

Grey leather.
115k.
Full service history.
Non smoker.
Dark blue/purple colour, looks great when the sun shines.
Factory BBS 2 piece split rims was refurbished 18 months ago by Lepsons.
Pzero tyres all round.
1 small car park dent at the lower part of the nearside front door.
One small spot of rust on the drivers rear wheel arch which hasn't got any worse in the last 2 years.

The car was bought by the mid 60's guy I work with when the car was a couple of months old from BMW.
He gave it to he's son a year ago as he had bought a 335d.

I'll get some pictures of it soon.

What's it worth, £800?

£1500-3000 depending on condition and which wheels they are..

Plus point is the mileage and history.
Downside is it isn't a 530.

Basically, if you can land it for £800, buy it. If you can't, let me. lol

Haha.

Cheers Mike, I hoped you would see this.

The wheels are these but the rears are wider (deeper lip) my friend had them split and powder coated in sliver.

Yep, absolute steal at £800 then. Those wheels if mint and staggered will be worth half the price IMO.

After quite a few years the polished rims went milky and fcuked looking as polished and lacquered wheels do.

My friend split the wheels and had them re polished and lacquered. But after another 5 year's they went again so he just had both bits done in sliver which still look nice.
My friend is proper fussy and only gave it to he's son as it was getting old.

Thanks buddy for you help/advice I'll let you know what I end up doing. [emoji2]

I have my old 182 wheels with Federal RSR tyres on that I will be replacing with 15's, anyone got an idea on what I should put them up for? Tyres have done a couple of track days but have a few left in them still :)

That's not an M Sport. It's not a Sport either.
Oh, thanks bud.

This. Alters the value massively unfortunately.

Still a £1500 car to the right person, once cleaned up properly etc.
Thanks Mike, im sure he told me it was. Clearly not.

It also needs a little bit of work so it just wont be me spending a couple of days giving it a good clean/polish. I think i will give it a miss then.

Thanks again chaps.

A exhaust I purchased came with this CAT. What price would you put on it? No markings or numbers...

Toying with selling this.

55 plate Artic 182ff 60000 mileage.

Mods: Ktec exhaust, sleeved cat, 197 Brembos, cooksport springs, 2118s tyres loads of tread.
Pretty much all susp bushes and shocks, wishbones etc replaced last year.

Bad points: Thumbgrip fubared, windscreen chip, bodywork tidys up well enough but quite a few stone chips and small patch on the wing where paint has bubbled and been flattened back. Jacking points usual bending.

What should I be selling this for? (If I do sell it)

03 172 Monaco
55k
Belts, dephaser, track rod ends, ball joints, discs, pads, shocks, springs all changed within the last 100 miles.

Complete respray (currently being done) so unmarked.

Conti tyres

Apart from a snappy steering wheel, 182 Cup springs and a stainless (original looking/sounding) exhaust, it's standard.

Drives like a brand new one.

Any ideas?

If it's seriously mint, I'd go up at £4k and take anything over £3250..

They're getting to the stage now where low mileage mint cars will start commanding top money.

It won't sell overnight, but to the right person, it's worth the right money.

It doesn't look like that now. It's Windows are out, door handles out and it's completely in primer.

It's being painted tomorrow morning. I'm very excited... [emoji16][emoji16]
Windows and door handles, this I like. [emoji106]

Hi Guys,
Looking at selling my arctic blue 182 with 78k miles. Im the only owner from new, and has good service history. It will have 12 months mot once i get this done and should fly through with no advisorys. Its been off the road for around 7 months, and needs the cambelt and aux belt doing now basically. Only mods is a miltek exhaust...just asking for some advice how much to put it up for? Any suggestions.
