[Sep 3, 2016] RS Tuning Rolling Road Day. (Leeds)

Unfortunately my mot just cost me 400 quid so I'm gonna now have to back out :(

For anyone whos still not sure, deposits are being sent tommorow, so its still not too late!

Wife has taken sprog to hospital, if I get all clear this morning I'll come up. Otherwise it's a no go. Wife is reliably rubbish at using her for anything important though so I'll (hopefully) be sat here anxious for no reason.
 
I enjoyed it just want to say thanks to the people who organised it. Shame my clio was the only one on the rollers would of been good to see more on there. Apart from that was a good day, turbo conversation in the next few month an get the car back there. Was good to see the meganes there an the old school gt5 turbo's. Roll on next time when the cars got boost.

Yeah there was only a few people from ClioSport there, most coming from TurboRenualt I believe. Seeing all that variety of cars was ace tho. What power did yours run in the end then? I left when that van was going on.
 
Only made 169 mate but it's over fueling an me like an idiot put normal petrol in :) t**t of the day especially when the bolt for the engine mount came off haha been making a strange noise for a few week when I go over speed bumps especially. Few of the lads I spoke to said it's that so just In the process of sorting that out mate.

Decent figure that tbh. Even with said issues. I'd say t**t of the day goes to the lad in the 106. "106 4 dayz" 😂

Cheers for getting it together mate. Also, couldn't work out who you were. There was so many people! edit- i was also a little late, that didnt help lol
Shame there wasn't more Cs members there, but future meetups with Cs and TurboRenault would be a blast. Enjoyed seeing all those older Renaults, as did my dad cos his first car was an R5.

I was the good looking one ! Easy to spot me.

Its good to hook up with you guys .We goto the ClioSport Festival ( which is ace and usually a fantastic turnout ) and now a Rolling Road. We hope to sort out some events of our own soon and get together.

Like minded people I think.
 
Really really gutted I couldn't come over for this! Ain't had a chance to admire an R5 for years aha :( stupid m.o.t's

If you're organising anything for the future or planning to, let us know. I'm sure more people would come out to a meet or an event etc, I think the date mainly didn't work for many people on here this time round. More Clios next time, i promise haha

Yeah, no worries. Ill coordinate stuff with you and you can do the cliosport side and Ill do the turboRenault side.

No issues with us doing that @Sunglasses_Ron is there ? Dont want to toe tread !
 
I couldn't stay for the pictures are lasses brother was moaning because he had to get his motocross bike prepared for a race tomorrow, don't want you lot thinking I'm ignorant :) I no what you mean though I have no idea who was who but everyone seemed helpful. RS tunings going to make a fortune our of me :) if I get into debt with my morgage I blame you guys haha

Cliosport were there in force, all 4 of us with our eggs in @Paul Mitch 1986 basket[emoji38].
Definitely be good to meet with the turbo renault guys more. Next meet for us is SCITP at Lotherton Hall on 25th Sept, it clashes with trax though.
Lost arch liner on the way home, luckily not until I hit the speed bump in our street. Could have been interesting if it flew of on the M1. Glad I didn't RR the car, God knows what might have come off!
 
Anyone know of anyone who do the turbo conversation? From what I've read up on its ktech or engine dynamics who do it. Not wanting to to do it on the cheap so 4k plus wouldn't be an issue. I might be wrong but but I'm sure I seen a guy on here buy a turbo kit and got rs tuning to fit it?

ClioTurbo is a place I have heard a lot of and good things about them too but that's just from reading on various forums and facebook groups. They are fairly expensive so I would assume the work is of a high standard. Would be worth a look.
 
You could go supercharger too. I know RS Tuning built a mk1 172 supercharged years ago that made 270ish bhp. Otherwise just go engine dynamics.
