First update of the new year.

Been pretty busy with the Clio and spending has already begun, with my water pump and pulleys screaming into the new year I had to bite the bullet and get the dephaser done with water pump and everything else needed. Cam timing was way off so Andy at engine dynamics sorted me out and rushed me in after dropping it off Sunday he done it Monday after there work there end had an opening. Proper touch.

So then that leaves the splitter I done to be fitted, all fitted and looks so much better now.

The mrs got me a snappy wheel for xmas so went about fitting that a few days ago and it’s just so much better as we all know his work is superb.

Audio route took an upgrade with a new headunit, a pioneer Bluetooth phone kit/hands free the lot from Halfords. £55 nowadays gets you everything and looks fine and work perfect. Put the mic up near interior sensor so works perfect.

Hi there, I have just been reading your thread and noticed you don’t have the heat shield above the rear part of the exhaust. Have you had any issues as mine is vibrating due to it been corroded around the fastenings.

None whatsoever matey. Loose it you’ll be fine. It wasn’t on when I purchased it, most of the heatsheilding underneath is rotten or getting that way so moved the others aswell.

Have you even removed the one that’s between the exhaust and fuel tank?

Another update, brakes this time.

My brake lines were completely shot and rusted and my fluid was a mix of 3 brake fluids so safe to say it was time to upgrade. Pro line kit was purchased over xmas but only just got it fitted and it’s a huge improvement. Can’t recomend it enough and as always new clips to make like easier. Went with yellow to give it some colour and helps me keep things clean in the arch once they’re getting grubby.

Yes I know my arches need a clean il be doing that in the warmer weather, front and rear overhaul.
