Front Cage (Safety Devices)

Good Evening All,

I’ve recently secured a front section of roll cage for my Clio however I had a few questions:

1. Can you keep access to the front glove box? If so is it just a case of trimming the door? Any pics would be great.

2. Sun Visors. I assume you just just remove these.

3. In order to fit the cross cross, along the windscreen do you need to remove the rear view mirror?

Anyway here is a pic of how I cable tied it in place this afternoon!

Thanks in advance

1. Yup, trim just under an inch off the glovebox.

2. Yeah, gotta take the visors off

3. Nope, once it's on the feet it clears the mirror.

I've got the same issue with the Mirror, if you don't have the cage raised is there a standard way people are refitting the mirror?

Cheers

I took the mirror off when fitting the cage (there is a small clip at the back and then you slide it off) and then simply refitted it once the cage was in place. However I may remove the standard mirror and replace with a large motor sport item.
