Selecting reverse bring on the right indicator light on dash

Any ideas ? Not sure if its because ive mixed looms or uch kit or a fault that's occured. Noticed this lastnight when putting car in garage

Sounds like a dodgy earth

Check the rear lights for corrosion on the connectors.

It has been parked up in garage for a while

check, as above the rear light connectors for corrosion and also the rear light earths - Thats what it was last time I came across this

Disconnected earths and rear light connectors then was fine
