Mate, that looks absolutely obscene. Someone with a collectors interest will literally rip your arm off for this I reckon. Might even be worth collecting cars?

Sadly the bodywork lets it down. It needs a full repaint really.
But I’m hoping I can get my money back (circa £5k) from someone that wants a tidy old school daily driver or maybe someone that wants a rolling resto and they can get the paint done in time.
It’s not a dog, far from it. But every panel has an imperfection of some description. I’ll know more once I polish it next week.

Also - I got all the offending bits before the wheel went back in. 🤦‍♂️😂

That’s the badgers. I honestly thought they’d be shite due to the price but 2 years on and they’re as good as new still.
(Except the one time I used my impact instead of my drill and it shattered in to pieces 😂)

Nice, will get some ordered and try to avoid doing that! 😆

Managed a couple of hours on my own stuff today. Last little bits before the valeter comes in Saturday to clean it, then it can be pictured and advertised.

Headlights polished. Before;

And after 👌🏽

Then removed all the wheel bolts, primer, satin silver. Much nicer.

Then I fitted new number plates. Was amazed to see it’s never been drilled! It has the standard OE holes that they come with from factory and nothing else. Don’t think I’ve ever seen that before. 😂

Got any pictures of with the plates on? did you go with the original dealers name etc on the bottom of them? (I guess I'll see that once you show them)

No mate. Time and budget don’t allow the things like that unfortunately. It needs a full repaint so I’ll just make it cheap and get it gone.
The valeter?? Are you not the valeter??
Looks bloody lovely by the way chap! 👌
We started outsourcing the valeting as it’s more cost effective for me to doing other stuff. Which upsets me but hey ho. 😂

Nice work @Bluebeard - I like what you did with those wheel bolts.. Might have to do something similar myself now I've gone with darker wheels!

If you’ve got dark wheels, put the wheel nuts on the concrete floor and get them as hot as you can with a hot air gun. Pick them up with pliers and drop them in some old dirty engine oil. Leave for 24h. They’ll look awesome. 👌🏽

Could be interested when you come to sell, ph1 172 got me into renaultsports and always loved them.

Really nice that. Well worth the £5k on rarity alone now. Hardly see any around in that condition and mileage.

Good luck with the sale
