None of these hold a candle to the Mrs new beast:

I follow him on Instagram. Can never make my mind up if I like the whale tail delete. Looks ok, but it also feels like it's removing one of the cars signature features.

Louvres definitely look shite though. They don't suit it in the slightest.

My father took the whale tail off his when he owned one, people were baffled. I thought it looked much better day to day.

Edit: Just found a pic of a standard looking cosworth with the whale tail removed.

Cosworth without the Whale tail, I think it looks pretty good, I'm also a big fan of lovers because I'm a child and want to be Mad Max.

I await the inevitable death threats from Ford purists for daring to exist.

Looks ruined

s**t without a whale tale
Worst wheel choice on cossie ever!
That slatted back window FFS looks utterly w**k.

He should be shot for doing that to an escort cossie perhaps he used to drive a mk1 capri 🤣

In fairness, it was a factory option to delete the whale tail and adjustable front splitter on the later, small turbo cars, so it is kind of OEM. It doesn't look bad as such, but it definitely looks like there is something missing.

You are - sadly - mistaken. He has also had it on 19" replicas of the standard wheels, which look cartoonishly large:

Or there are these two, which are an exercise in choosing wheels that don't suit the lines of the car in the slightest (and air ride on an Escort Cosworth just baffles me).

This comps look hard as nails - take your hard drive to the nearest police station and tell them what you have done.

God that Adam C is a melt. He's as annoying as the plebs doing the revving.

It's funny how much Ford Fair has changed. I went a few times in the mid '00s and you never got all the engine revving business but, once the STs came along, it turned into a right chav fest. The last time I went, (which was probably getting on for 10 years ago), there were hardly any of the older RS models, just thousands of Focus and Fiesta STs with Maxton tat stuck to them.

Adam c is definitely a lunchtime fodder YouTuber (10 minutes of car related shite to have on while I’m demolishing my lastest sandwich based creation).

I’ve never been to Ford fair but did go to one of the big RS owners club meets at Silverstone about 20 years ago. That read a decent day out.

That Ford fair queue looked like a McDonald car park meet on acid. You’d be embarrassed to accept a lift in most of the cars in that video

You're not far wrong. The pop n bags pam crew really are a bunch of knuckle dragging fuckwits. But, Ford Fair on the whole was a decent day out. Some VERY quick machines on the track sessions, although there was also a few bellends who caused red flags.

There wasn't much in the way of old skool stuff like sierra/escort cossies, RS Turbos etc, but they were dotted around. Rows upon rows of Mk3 and Mk4 STs in the same colour did get a bit boring though.

That queue to get in was a joke though, and the amount of fiesta driving chavvy little scrots with s**t mullet haircuts who blasted up the outside lane and cut it at the last minute really boiled my piss.

Last time I went about 10/12 years ago there were load of Mondeos and Smax things with airbrushed bonnets 😂😂

I recall that the clubs for those cars always attracted a few oddballs. A mate of mine used to have a modified Mondeo and the clubs were full of middle-aged men who through all kinds of weird tat at their cars. The Galaxy owners were even weirder

The queues to get in and out used to be mental years ago too. Silverstone is shite for access though. Agree on the rows of STs that all look the same being boring. It was the same when the MK1 Focus RS came out. A mate back then also had a MK5 Fiesta Zetec-S and they would group the cars on their show stand by colour

I did used to enjoy it though. People slate Ford owners, but there are usually some really impressive builds floating about, and it was fun being around it all when you had all the mad top-speed builds etc. Good times.
