Car won't start. Help!

  Tungy
Got the engine mackled back up again today. Put the key in and tured and ignition comes on, all electrics work, great. Turn it the next notch hoping for the engine to crank and nothing at all, only thing that happened was the fuel pump started whirring. I think everything that's needed to be connected up to start the engine is, just wondering if theres any kind of sensors that stop the car starting with no radiator/fan in and stuff because I've not put them back in yet? I doubt it though. Opinions please...

Check starter motor.

That's what we were thinking. Couldn't really see it but pretty sure my dad wired it up when he put it back on. Will crawl underneath and have a proper look tomorrow. Hope it isn't shot because there a fucker to get out and in! Plus would mean more expense :(

Jump start the car.

The battery is chnaged and connected up the right way round isn't it?

DId you test the engine before you put it in?

The battery we temporarily put in was only kicking out 12.4v so not brilliant, but should be enough to at least turn the car over? Didn't test the engine before putting back in. Worked before it came out so just assumed it'd be okay. I don't think it will be anything major.

Problem is it could be anumber of things wiring loom fuses ecu plugs not connected the start not staritn might show starters gone or not wired up or the relay isn't working.
