in winter is it advisable to use any other produtcts aprt from m seal, xxx, detailer??

I would get some longer lasting products on there as winter prep.

A longer lasting sealant to replace the M/seal.

Autoglym Extra Gloss
Klasse Sealant Glaze
Jeffs Acrylic Jett Trigger

If you want to wax as well look into

Collinite
Meguiars #16

if u m seal it and use collinites, will i need to get a stronger sealant?

The Collinite alone should see you through. I would still be tempted to use a longer lasting sealant as a base but that's just me.

Said to be durable, so should be an ideal winter wax, most people go for the #476s Super Doublecoat Auto Wax though.

We've been doing Collinite since we started four years ago but, it's only been the past couple of winters where it's become really popular now people know how good it is. This also means more traders are 'jumping on the bandwagon' now that the work has been done but, it does get the name out there more I guess.....

We don't actually do the 915 anymore... Apart from being slightly more tricky to use than the 476s, there were no real noticable differences (the carnauba content is slightly higher but even Collinite admit thats about it).

The 845 Insulator Wax and mainly the 476s are the popular choices and the ones I've continued to stock.... The 476s will last slightly longer than the 845 but, the 845 is slightly easier to use..... Not much between them really.

We will be testing a few more Collinite products soon and getting them on the shelves :).

Meg's #16 is also still a good winter choice but, I seem to sent virtually all the stock I get in straight back out to America again! Lol....

Cheers.

Ah ok..

If i had a daily driver which i'm currently looking at i wouldnt bother my arse with it..

I'd make sure it was mechanically sound but thats where it'd end, i'd maybe wipe the plates n lights lol
