Quickest ive done was a 14.7 thats with dodgy cams.
Also custom exhaust,filter,decat, 15"alloys(makes a big difference i think) especially on excelleration.

14.4 is good but most 172's seem to run low 15's. pretty poor IMO

At York in September I ran a 15.1 with only a K and N and Magnex exhaust fitted so not much in the way of extra BHP.

Do also have light racing wheels on if that matters

No idea on Paddy's, think it was completely boggo standard, but it never ran a 14.4, Mk2's dont run those times without a fair few mods and someone that can drive.

This was the TT previous to the VAG conversion - it was basically a 1.2 with 172 cup running gear - 13.5's with gas was easy

some of these runs are really quick for FF cars!! my mate run a 13.5 in his VX220 Turbo and that is very fast so a clio running similar times is seriously rapid!!!

a friends of mine runs a 14.1 at the Pod in his Clio 2.0 Williams Hybrid and another friend run a 14.8 in his 172 Cup!!

will hopefully run the 182 next year!! am hoping to get into the 14s but we will c!!
