Hi,

Englebert - lol

Rain - Thanks, mate! It'll be very helpful!! :)

al - You can fit it, but it won't do you nothing exept for the noise.
Dumpvalves are used to let the pressure out of the space between the turbo and the Throttle body, when you put your foot off the gas pedal.

But diesels don't have TB's so there is never that build up of pressure :)

Dunno if I made myself understood :)

Cheers,
J

Yep perfect sence.

Depends what pressure you want to measure.
Stick it just after the compressor to measure produced boost by the turbo if your worried about overspeeding the turbo.
Stick it on the intake manifold to measure actual boost

Whereever you stick it you have to remember the intercooler will be a small restriction and as its changing intake temps boost will change slight.

How come you want to install one?

Sorry, I don`t have picture of that any more, but i can show you where you should connect that gauge if you take a picture of your engine.
Take picture of right part of engine (the same side where the battery is located) and post it here, then I will mark you where you can connect boost gauge

Edde - I see!
I want to connect it to the intake manifold, but I dont know what tube to put the T on :-\

I want to do some trackdays in the future, so I want to monitor all the engine aspects. Boost, oil temp, etc.

Very tempted to go for Defi-Link Display :)

Rain - I'll get it posted ASAP. Thanks a lot :)

Cheers,
J!

I marked you where I had T connector on mine DCI.
BTW, one sugestion.
Buy BMC CDA air filter for Clio Sport or Clio Williams and put it on your car, that thing has awesome sound, and there are also some power gains from it (I managed to get 0,3 sec better 0-100km/h time with it)

But for putting it in you need to remove batery (put it in boot/trunk), and you will also need to buy some silicon hoses for it. Also you will need to relocate fuel filter for that :)

You can see on picture how I did that on mine CS, and the same thing was done on DCI

Hi,

hum, ok. Do you know if that tube you indicated is connected to the wastegate?

Cuz dCi100 don't have wastegates (that work with pressure), they have geometry valves (that work with vacuum).

So I have to find a tube that connects to the intake manifold and doest go through any valve.

That was what I was told :|

Cheers and thank you for your time ;)
J!

That hose that is marked. Can you connect the dump valve to that? I have a DCi 65?

Diesels don't use dump valves there not like petrols.

If you hear a diesel with one proves the owner just done it for noise.

A "dump valve" for a diesel does't work you attach a vlave to that and one to the throttle pedal so that when you lift off it lets some air out of the turbo pipe.
