Campus servicing help

Can anyone tell me why the thread on clio service intervals - http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=107876 shows the standard mk2 clio as having a 18k/24 month interval yet the "Warranty And Services Booklet" i got with my 06 reg Campus says 18k/12 months which was backed up by the Renault customer service line.

Obviously i don't wanna service it too much (was gonna do a 9k oil change) but i also want to ensure the warranty is ok.

I wouldn't leave any car 2 years without a service.

If you are going to keep with the main dealer whilst under warranty, listen to them.

Thats guides right. The manuals are incorrect. Ring Renault Uk and ask for clarity if you want.

Very very true 18k or 2 years between services is a long time. I'd chnage at 9k or a year. Its not muhc to juct chnage the oil 20 minutes work or so.

i think they may have brought them down to 12 months now as for euro 4 emmisions

I thought the book might be wrong so i phoned and she said 12 months, i then queried that and she checked and came back with 12 months again.

I was gonna do an oil change halfway anyway to be sure.

I spose i need to phone the dealer where i will get it serviced and ask them, and then go with that.
