Lowering a 182...

  182 Cup
Should I? I feel that it handles quite well as it is but of course it would look far better if it was lowered a bit, the question is...if I do how far do I go? I dont really want it as low as my last clio when I was biting chunks out of my tongue evert time I hit a minor hole!

Advice and if possible some piccies most appreciated!

Personaly if your going to do this spend a lot of money its the only way. H and R's are £750 I think or so and either them or the Ledas (£1.2k)would be the only way I'd ever go.

if you say it handles well enough i wouldn't bother

ok it does look better lowered but still looks awesome standard :)

Is your a cup mate?

Ive got a non cup but with sportlines on now and its a world of a difference.

Obviously a kit will be far better and adjustable ( which it should be for the £££) but for just springs, Eibach sportlines gets my vote.

Yeh id only ever have them and pay £1250

NOT-if you say it handles fine as it is just drop it around 20-40mm for around £150

i would defo recomend getting sportline springs, make a huge difference over stock

If I lowered it a small amount, say 20mm will I still retain a decent degree of comfort? I want it to look good but not at the expense of biting my tongue off every time I drive over a catseye!

Also, it will have to be springs only, I cant afford coilovers.

Don't bother I've never though just springs are worthwhile. IF you want p prove Renault havn't done the suspension design ring £100 worth of springs won't fix it.

get eibach sportlines, they do drop the car slightly and they improve handling a lot, theres no bodyroll with them on and the ride isnt harsh at all, mines on sportlines
